Ward owns Bengals; T.O. struggling in Big D

In an effort to help you set the best fantasy lineup possible, here are a few interesting trends you might want to consider heading into Week 7.

Willis McGahee has not rushed for more than 64 yards in a game this season. In seven career games against Miami, he has rushed for 643 yards (91.9 rushing YPG) and one touchdown.

In one career start in Chicago, Adrian Peterson rushed for a team-record 224 yards and three touchdowns. He has five 100-yard rushing performances in his last seven games against divisional opponents.

Hines Ward has 11 receptions, 178 yards and four touchdowns in his last two games against Cincinnati. He also has 10 touchdown catches in his last 11 games against them.

Steve Smith has 18 receptions and 304 yards in last three games. In his last six games against New Orleans, he has scored seven touchdowns. Smith’s teammate, Muhsin Muhammad, has a touchdown catch in two straight home games. He also has 22 receptions, 388 yards (97.0 per game) and three touchdowns in his last four games against the Saints.

Brett Favre’s lone visit to Oakland came on Monday Night Football in 2003, the day after his father died. He led the Packers to a 41-7 win, throwing for 399 yards and 4 touchdowns (311 yards, four scores came in the first half).

Laveranues Coles has 22 receptions, 241 yards and four touchdowns in his last three games. He has 15 receptions and 269 yards in his last two games in Oakland.

Terrell Owens has not led Dallas in receiving yards in a single game this season. He’s also been held under 100 yards in nine straight games dating back to last season. That’s the longest streak of games under 100 yards for Owens since the 1998 season. He has not started a season with seven straight games under 100 yards since 1999. Owens has 23 receptions this season and has been thrown to 48 times. That’s tied for 12th in NFL and second on the Cowboys to Jason Witten (53 targets).

After throwing three touchdown passes in his first three games, Peyton Manning has thrown for five scores in his last two games. Manning has 687 yards and eight touchdowns in two career games against Green Bay.

Matt Cassel has been sacked 4-plus times in all four starts this season. He has completed just seven of 27 passes of 11-plus yards (25.9 percent), and 115 of Cassel’s 181 pass attempts have been for 10 yards or fewer (63.5 percent). Last season, Tom Brady completed 42.3 percent of his pass attempts of 21-plus yards.

Randy Moss has one touchdown in six career games against Denver. He has 20 receptions and two touchdowns through five games this season. In 2007, Moss had 34 receptions and seven touchdowns after five games.
