Deadline deal for Raiders running back falls through

The Chargers and the Raiders came close to completing a deal before Tuesday’s deadline. You read that right, two bitter rivals almost came together on a trade.

Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union-Tribune breaks it all down:

“Raiders running back Michael Bush was almost a Charger before the Raiders backed out just before the 1 p.m. deadline,” sources said.

“According to a Bay Area source, the sides were close on terms, believed to be a second-day pick, before the Raiders pulled the deal.” More
