Chiefs cut Harris; Eagles cut Hunt

Teams that couldn’t trade certain players went ahead and cut them. There were two notable cuts Tuesday of former high draft picks.

For starters, the Chiefs cut former first-round pick Napoleon Harris — once a part of the Vikings-Raiders trade for Randy Moss — and the Eagles cut former third-rounder Tony Hunt, who struggled to pick up Philadelphia’s offense.
