Jaguars RB Fred Taylor returned to Sunday’s game against Denver midway through the third quarter after missing nearly the entire first half with an apparent head injury. Taylor was injured after taking a direct hit to the helmet on his first and only carry of the game during Jacksonville’s first possession.
With Taylor out, RB Maurice Jones-Drew got the majority of the work during the first half. He currently has 86 yards rushing and both of Jacksonville’s touchdowns, as well as two receptions for 23 yards.
Jaguars CB Omare Lowe is also questionable to return with a hamstring injury. SS Gerald Sensabaugh also left the game with an undisclosed injury. Team trainers held his right arm as he walked off the field and appeared to be examining his right wrist and hand.
