The Colts’ 31-3 win over the Ravens on Sunday was diminished with the loss of running backs Joseph Addai and Mike Hart to injuries.
Addai left the game on the team’s second drive of the game in the first quarter with what is being reported as a hamstring injury. He was injured during a 2-yard run and was replaced by Dominic Rhodes.
“I think Joseph is going to be OK,” said coach Tony Dungy during his postgame press conference.
Hart left with a knee injury midway through the second quarter, which Dungy said “doesn’t look great.” Hart went down on the sideline following an 18-yard reception holding his lower left leg, but was able to walk off the field, limping, under his own power.
Dominic Rhodes, the only other tailback on the active roster, handled most of the work and finished with 73 yards rushing and a touchdown on 25 carries.
