Patriots linebacker Tedy Bruschi played college football in the early 1990s at the University of Arizona, where Dick Tomey was his coach. Christopher L. Gasper of The Boston Globe reports that the two shared a reunion when the Patriots spent the week practicing at San Jose State, where Tomey is now head coach.
“It brings back fond memories for me,” Bruschi told Gasper. “An old teammate of mine, Joe Salave’a, is on his coaching staff. I feel like I sort of relate to this program because I’ve been keeping up with it also. I’m from the University of Arizona, but Coach Tomey is my coach.” Full story
