Gross, Otah return to practice for Panthers

The Panthers received some much-needed good news along their offensive line on Thursday when starting tackles Jordan Gross and Jeff Otah returned to practice. Both players missed last week’s win over the Chiefs and missed practice on Wednesday as well. The AP reports Gross was cleared to practice after passing a series of tests following a concussion against Atlanta in Week 4. Otah had been slowed by a sprained ankle.
Not all the injury news is good for the Panthers, however. Starting C Ryan Kalil (ankle), who was injured last week, missed practice for the second straight day. He would likely be replaced by Geoff Hangartner.
