The day of the pulled quarterback

Matt Hasselbeck, Eli Manning, Damon Huard and Jon Kitna were all pulled in their respective games.

Hasselbeck and Manning were both yanked from the Seahawks-Giants game because of the score, as the G-Men crushed the ‘Hawks. Huard and Kitna were both ineffective and replaced by Tyler Thigpen and Dan Orlovsky, respectively.

The biggest of these stories is Kitna, who was absolutely dreadful in a bad loss to Chicago. The decision to bench him and use Orlovsky next week and into the future could have an affect on the fantasy value of Calvin Johnson and Roy Williams.
