Springs, Heyer out for Redskins

The Redskins will be without starters CB Shawn Springs, LB Marcus Washington and OT Stephon Heyer today against the Eagles.

Springs sat out practice on Friday and was listed as questionable with a strained calf. Heyer, who was listed as doubtful, has a sprained shoulder. Veteran Fred Smoot is expected to start for Springs. Jon Jansen would make his second straight start for Heyer at right tackle. H.B. Blades is expected to start for Washington, who has a hamstring injury.
