Eagles plan to welcome back Westbrook

As the Eagles prepare for their big NFC East clash with the Redskins, they are planning to welcome back running back Brian Westbrook.

An Eagles official just emailed that Westbrook “should be okay to play.” But the Eagles will not have guard Shawn Andrews, who already has been ruled out of today’s game with a back injury. The good part there for the Eagles is that Andrews is feeling much better and could return for next Sunday’s game at San Francisco.

Also, the Eagles will still be without wide receiver Kevin Curtis, who has been recovering from a hernia. He has been ruled out of today’s game versus the Redskins.
