Bears beware: Lions look strong in practice

The Bears might want to be on guard — unless it is the same old Lions. But Lions coach Rod Marinelli has been telling people inside his organization that this past week was the best week of practice Detroit has had since he has been with the organization. Players have been flying around, practiced hard, bringing an energy that sometimes seemed lacking. It would not be surprising to see the Lions bring their “A” game for their first game since the team fired Matt Millen.
Then again, it could turn out to be the same old Lions.
