Bengals activate Henry, release Watson

The Bengals activated WR Chris Henry on Saturday and released veteran RB Kenny Watson.
Henry practiced with the Bengals this week under a one-week exemption after he returned from a four-game suspension for violating the league’s conduct policy. The decision to activate Henry likely indicates he will play Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys.
Watson was the odd man out in a Bengals backfield that became more crowded after the team signed free agent RB Cedric Benson to a one-year contract on Tuesday. Watson, who had been slowed by a hamstring injury, rushed for 32 yards on seven carries as a backup to starter Chris Perry.
