Packers’ Harrell quietly working to recover

Packers defensive tackle Justin Harrell underwent a second back surgery on Aug. 25, when he was placed on the PUP list. Since then, reports Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, his teammates have rarely seen him, but he’s been furiously preparing to return to the gridiron in mid-October:
“It is Week 4 of Harrell’s six-week sentence on the physically unable to perform list,” Silverstein writes. “Exactly one week from Monday, he will be eligible to practice and be activated to the 53-man roster, although the Packers can take up to three weeks to decide whether to play him or put him on season-ending injured reserve.” Full Story
