Ex-Colts still hope to land jobs

A month after the league’s final cut-down day, Phillip B. Wilson of the Indianapolis Star looks at the fate of two former Colts who haven’t given up hope of catching on with an NFL team this season. Here’s how his story opens:

Ramon Guzman and Rocky Boiman await the next call, still recovering from the last.

One August moment, the linebackers and special-teams players exhaled with relief after the deadline for the final preseason roster cut had passed.

But within days, Guzman was waived by the Indianapolis Colts, and former Colt Boiman got the same treatment in Philadelphia.
