Haslett: Bulger starter for rest of season

NFL.com senior writer Steve Wyche reports that new Rams coach Jim Haslett told reporters following Tuesday’s practice that Marc Bulger will be the team’s starting quarterback for the rest of the season.

Bulger — the highest-paid player in team history — had been benched in favor of veteran QB Trent Green by former Rams coach Scott Linehan after the team was outscored 116-29 the first three games. Linehan was fired Monday after the team’s 31-14 loss to the Buffalo Bills.
