O’Sullivan continues to impress Belichick

Back in 2006, the quarterback New England kept on its practice squad was J.T. O’Sullivan. Now, the Patriots will go from working with O’Sullivan to playing against him as New England readies to play San Francisco.

What stands out about O’Sullivan now to Patriots coach Bill Belichick are the same things that led New England to sign him.

“He’s athletic, good arm, is a very mobile guy in the pocket and can make all the throws,” Belichick said about O’Sullivan, who went on to Detroit and then his current job in San Francisco. “He has a strong arm and can get the ball down the field. He has a good touch on the ball and can stay alive with his feet. He’s been very productive for them.”
