Jets RB Chatman reinstated

Amazingly, the Jets have carried only three running backs on their roster for the season’s first four games.
But that is about to change. The NFL reinstated running back Jesse Chatman, who was suspended the first four games of the season.
“He’ll be able to work through the week with a (roster) exemption,” said Jets coach Eric Mangini. “Then starting next week, we’ll have to make some kind of decision in terms of the roster. But that, again, won’t be until next week.”
For now, the Jets have waived punter Ben Graham and re-signed offensive lineman Will Montgomery to the active roster, and released receiver Paul Raymond from the practice squad.
