Time to trade Tomlinson?

Maybe it’s his toe. Maybe it’s his 2,422 career regular-season carries. Or maybe he’s just another running back who’s losing some of his effectiveness late in his career.

Whatever it is, LaDainian Tomlinson doesn’t look right to me.

Tomlinson did score twice last week against the New York Jets, but he averaged a mere 2.6 yards per carry. This week he’s totaled 19 yards on nine carries in the first half (against the Raiders!), and he continues to lose carries to Darren Sproles.

Maybe I’m jumping the gun, but I might be looking to put Tomlinson on the trading block very soon.
