Favre tosses fifth touchdown pass

Brett Favre just threw his fifth touchdown pass of the afternoon, this one to Jerricho Cotchery, on a 40-yard connection. Favre has now recorded 265 yards and the five scores against an Arizona team that entered the week ranked 11th in pass defense.
Of course, that was with SS Adrian Wilson. He is out of action in this contest due to injury.
In an ironic twist, we’ve now featured two players that have scored five touchdowns (Ronnie Brown, Favre) as having unfavorable matchups in Start ‘Em & Sit ‘Em.
Sometimes the matchups work, sometimes they get tossed completely out the window. It’s a good lesson for fantasy owners — despite weather issues and what looked like a bad matchup on paper, Favre still found a ton of success.
This is why you stick with your superstars!
