In an effort to help you set the best lineup possible, NFL Network’s stats guru David Carabello and I have found a few interesting trends you might want to consider for Week 4.
Maurice Jones-Drew has 13 total touchdowns (11 rushing, 1 receiving, 1 return), five 100-yard rushing games, 926 rushing yards (71.2 per game), 470 receiving yards (36.2) and 763 return yards (58.7 per game) in 13 career AFC South games.
Brandon Marshall has 16 receptions for 200 yards with two touchdowns in two career games as a starter against Kansas City.
Larry Johnson has 100-plus yards rushing in all four of his career starts against Denver.
Isaac Bruce has 83 receptions, 1,459 yards and 12 touchdowns in 14 career games against the Saints. He hasn’t scored more touchdowns in his career against any other team.
LaDainian Tomlinson has averaged 122.1 rush YPG in 14 career games against the Raiders. In seven career games at Oakland, he has averaged 128.4 rush YPG with six rushing touchdowns, three receiving touchdowns and two passing touchdowns.
Braylon Edwards has 16 receptions for 198 yards with four touchdowns in last two games against Cincinnati.
Carson Palmer has 20 career touchdown passes against Cleveland in eight games; T.J. Houshmandzadeh has scored a touchdown in four straight games against Cleveland; Chad Johnson has 15 receptions for 253 yards with two touchdowns in last two games against Cleveland.
Santana Moss has a touchdown reception in six straight games including playoffs. In his last five games against the Cowboys since joining the Redskins in 2005, Moss has 28 receptions for 537 yards with four touchdowns.
