McNabb, Westbrook miss practice on Thursday

Any Eagles fan hoping for encouragement that his favorite offensive players would be on the field for Sunday’s game at Chicago was disappointed Thursday.
- For the second straight day, Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb did not practice due to a chest contusion.
- For the second straight day, Eagles running back Brian Westbrook did not practice due to an ankle injury.
- For the second straight day, tight end L.J. Smith did not practice due to a back injury.
- And for the second straight day, guard Shawn Andrews did not practice due to a back injury.
There’s still one more practice this week before the walk-through Saturday. The Eagles are hoping they can get some of these players back. And it’s hard to imagine McNabb missing this game, especially with it coming in his hometown of Chicago. But after another non-work day, the chances that some of the Eagles other offensive standouts will play appears to be dropping.
