Some stories go beyond wins and losses or fantasy football. In Tampa Bay, the family of Matt Bryant is dealing with the death of their 3-month-old son, Matthew Tryson Bryant, on Wednesday.

On the football side of things, Bucs coach Jon Gruden said during his news conference on Thursday he “didn’t feel like talking about it” when asked about the team’s kicking situation. Gruden said the Bucs have a contingency plan if Bryant doesn’t play, but nothing was in the works. The team is in full support of Bryant, either way, and is waiting to see what happens.
