Burress suspended, Toomer moves up

What is it with wide receivers these days?
The New York Giants have suspended Plaxico Burress for two weeks after he missed work on Monday and failed to return phone calls. The team is currently on a bye, however, so Burress will only miss one game (Week 5 vs. Seattle).
That’s about the only positive that fantasy owners can take out of this situation.
With Burress out, Amani Toomer will see an increase in value against the Seahawks. The “other” Steve Smith should also pick up more targets in the offense. Fantasy owners that lack depth at wide receiver could also target two Seahawks, Bobby Engram and Deion Branch, who are expected to return from injuries in time to face the G-Men.
Burress is the fourth prominent fantasy wide receiver to be suspended this season, joining Brandon Marshall, Carolina’s Steve Smith and Chris Henry.
