Panthers lose rookie Connor for season

Tough blow for the Carolina Panthers.
Rookie linebacker Dan Connor, the third-round pick from Penn State, tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee Sunday and now will miss the remainder of the season. Connor was playing on special teams for Carolina, and now the Panthers will need to find a replacement.
