Fast Willie out, Green replaces Bulger

Steelers coach Mike Tomlin announced Tuesday that Willie Parker will miss this week’s game against the Baltimore Ravens with a sprained knee. Rashard Mendenhall will see the bulk of the carries in his absence.
If the rookie is somehow still available in your fantasy football league, add him immediately.
In St. Louis, the Rams have announced that Trent Green will start in place of an ineffective Marc Bulger against Buffalo. This looks like a desperation move from coach Scott Linehan, who has seen his team flounder out of the gate.
Unless you’re in a larger league or one that requires two starting quarterbacks, Green won’t have a lot of value. He’s now a viable fantasy reserve in most formats, but don’t lean on him in a prominent role.
Green has been brittle late in his career, so I wouldn’t be shocked to see Bulger back under center before midseason.
If anything, this move makes the Bills DST an even more attractive option in Week 4.
