Kiffin saga continues in Oakland

The moment Raiders coach Lane Kiffin loses his next game, and that could be as early as Sunday against the Buffalo Bills, he is on the clock, a candidate to be fired at any moment.
But it also is possible that Raiders owner Al Davis could wait until after his team’s next two games, Sunday at Buffalo and then at home against San Diego, before Oakland gets its bye week. If Oakland goes into its bye week at 1-3 — which also would happen to be the same record that former Raiders head coach Mike Shanahan had when Davis fired him during the 1989 season — Kiffin can start packing.
Yet there are those in the Kiffin camp who are openly rooting for the head coach to continue winning, making it more and more difficult for Davis to fire him.
