For starters: Peterson in lineup for Vikings

– Not only is Minnesota RB Adrian Peterson active today against the Panthers, but he also started. Peterson, a game-time decision for the Vikings due to a sore hamstring, had one rush for 12 yards on Minnesota’s first possession that was called back because of a holding penalty. – With RB Laurence Maroney inactive because of a shoulder injury, veteran RB Sammy Morris made the start for the Patriots. Morris had four rushes for 23 yards on the Patriots’ first drive. Follow it live here.
