Toe jam in the AFC West

The NFL is a copycat league, but this is starting to get ridiculous. Busted toes have become the new “West Coast offense” in the AFC West.
LaDainian Tomlinson has been hobbled with a toe injury for the Chargers, which resulted in Darren Sproles having nearly as many carries against Denver. Tomlinson missed practice on Wednesday, once again raising a red flag for fantasy owners.
And hey, if the defending AFC West champs are doing it, then everybody else should be doing it too, right?
Darren McFadden was wearing a protective boot at practice on Wednesday to protect the rookie’s injured toe. McFadden is expected to return to practice on Thursday. Justin Fargas’ groin injury is more severe, which just seems obvious. His status for Buffalo is in doubt.
Raiders receiver Javon Walker could not finish practice with a hamstring injury, which is important for the five of you who would actually count on Walker.
