For the third consecutive week, the Chiefs will start a different quarterback.
- » Brodie Croyle started the opener against the New England Patriots.
- » Damon Huard started the next week against the Oakland Raiders.
- » And now, Tyler Thigpen will get his turn starting against the Atlanta Falcons, Chiefs coach Herman Edwards announced Wednesday.
Thigpen is a quarterback who has intrigued the Chiefs for some time now, ever since Kansas City claimed him on waivers from Minnesota. Interestingly, in the week the Vikings have decided to bench their quarterback Tarvaris Jackson for Gus Frerotte, another former Vikings quarterback will start elsewhere.
