Titans will stick with veteran QB Collins

As long as Tennessee keeps winning, veteran
will be its starting quarterback. The latest over the news wires is that coach Jeff Fisher said Monday Collins will remain in the lineup for the Titans, who are 2-0 for the first time since 1999, their last Super Bowl appearance.
Fisher said the non-move makes sense after watching Collins play nearly mistake-free in Sunday’s win against the Bengals. Collins completed 14-of-21 for 128 yards and a touchdown, with no interceptions, as the Titans’ defense did the rest by limiting the Bengals to 215 total yards on a windy day in Cincy. Collins is now 2-3 as the starter for the Titans.
Fisher also said Monday he didn’t know the condition of Vince Young’s sprained left knee and hadn’t talked to the third-year quarterback.
