Taylor leaves game for Redskins

A few injury updates from Sunday’s early games:

– The Redskins lost DE Jason Taylor to an undisclosed injury during the second quarter. It appears to be related to his previously injured right knee, as a Saints offensive lineman fell onto his right leg during a running play. Taylor appeared to try and walk off the injury on the sidelines, but then went into a training room behind the Redskins’ bench. Taylor recorded his first sack as a Redskin earlier in the game.

– Chiefs starting DE Turk McBride went down with an undisclosed injury early in the second quarter against the Raiders. He was able to leave the field under his own power. Two plays later, CB Patrick Surtain also left the game with an injury.

– Bengals LB Darryl Blackstock was down briefly against the Titans. He was down on the field and checked on by trainers, but was able to jog off the field on his own. It doesn’t appear serious.
