The Chargers placed linebacker Shawne Merriman on IR this week, but he’s not the only big-name player on the roster who is hurting. Running back LaDainian Tomlinson is officially listed as questionable with a toe injury. Backup Darren Sproles could be starting against a banged-up offensive line. The Chargers will continue to be without starting center Nick Hardwick and starting tackle Marcus McNeill. Cornerback Antonio Cromartie is also listed as questionable due to a hip injury.

The only good news is that tight end Antonio Gates and defensive tackle Jamal Williams are both probable.

The Broncos will be without starting center Tom Nalen, who is still battling a knee injury.
