An earlier blog post noted the hope that New England should have. But there is a flipside to it when squaring off against New York Jets quarterback Brett Favre.

Favre is 5-0 versus quarterbacks making their first NFL starts, as New England’s Matt Cassel is expected to do on Sunday.

Here’s a look at Favre’s victims — QBs who lost in their first career starts against him — which Cassel will be trying to avoid Sunday.
