Culpepper worth a call from Patriots?

If WR Randy Moss did indeed recommend QB Daunte Culpepper to the Patriots, New England coach Bill Belichick took the words into consideration. Belichick admitted he listens to what his players tell him about other players.
“Sure, absolutely,” Belichick said in a conference call on Tuesday. “I think if someone has good working knowledge of the situation, of course we would talk to him and take that into consideration. I don’t think any player is going to head up our personnel department, I don’t mean it that way. But, would we take any source of information and take it into consideration? Of course we would.”
Now if Moss recommended Culpepper, the next move would be whether Belichick could convince the quarterback to come out of retirement. It would be worth a call, that’s for sure.
