Ryan tosses TD on first pass attempt

Nothing like making a great first impression. Atlanta Falcons rookie QB Matt Ryan connected with WR Michael Jenkins for a 62-yard touchdown on first career attempt, becoming the first NFL QB to throw a TD pass on his first attempt since Michael Bishop for New England against Indianpolis on Oct. 8, 2000.

Ryan started his first game 5 for 5 passing for 82 yards and a touchdown as the Falcons jumped to a 21-0 lead in the first quarter.
