Tom Brady lost for the season

NFL Network’s Adam Schefter is reporting Tom Brady is out for the rest of the season after suffering damage to his left knee during Sunday’s win over Kansas City.
This scenario seems to have decimated the championship hopes of not only the Patriots, but fantasy football owners who drafted Brady as their No. 1 quarterback.
Brady is coming off the greatest fantasy season of all time, as he threw for over 4,800 yards and scored 52 total touchdowns. Now that he is done for 2008, Matt Cassel will take over the reins of the offense.
Cassel isn’t on Brady’s level, but he did put together a nice stat line (152 yards, 1 TD) against the Chiefs.
He has a solid offensive line in front of him and a ton of weapons at his disposal, none more prominent than Randy Moss and Wes Welker, so look for Cassel to be one of the hottest names on the waiver wire this week.
