Texans’ Winston gets five-year extension

Agent Drew Rosenhaus clearly does not sleep much. If at all.
Two days after finalizing Plaxico Burress’ five-year extension with the Giants, Rosenhaus put the finishing touches on a five-year extension worth $30 million for Texans offensive tackle Eric Winston.
The deal includes $10 million worth of guaranteed money and makes Winston one of the three highest paid right tackles in the NFL.
It also means that Houston, which struggled for years at the tackle position, now has Winston manning the right side and first-round pick Duane Brown manning the left. Houston and Matt Schaub are positioned to succeed.
