Ravens add protection for Flacco
Published: September 4th, 2008 | Tags: Baltimore Ravens, Willie Anderson
Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco is a rookie, but he’s getting all the help he can. Baltimore signed the former Cincinnati Bengals offensive tackle Willie Anderson to a three-year, $11 million contract that includes $3.5 million guaranteed. Anderson instantly upgrades Baltimore’s offensive line and will help give Flacco more time to throw.
Plus, Anderson benefits, too. Twice a year he gets to go up against the Bengals team he played on for 12 years, but cut him last weekend. The Ravens host the Bengals in Week 1.
