Jaguars sign free-agent OT Spencer

Jacksonville hopes offensive tackle Richard Collier can recover from the gunshot wounds he suffered this week. When it comes to their roster, however, the Jaguars had no choice but to move on for now. They signed veteran free agent offensive tackle Charles Spencer and placed Collier on the reserve/non-football injury list. Thoughts and prayers are with Collier, who remains in critical condition.
Spencer, 26, was waived by Houston on July 22 after spending two seasons with the Texans.
