Vikings cut QB Bollinger

The Vikings kept fifth-round draft pick John David Booty and released veteran quarterback Brooks Brooks Bollinger. The former Wisconsin quarterback spent the previous two seasons with the Vikings.
The Vikings also released kicker Steve Hauschka; receivers Jaymar Johnson, Nate Jones, Martin Nance and Darius Reynaud; cornerbacks Marcus Walker, Dee McCann and Brandon Sumrall; running back Albert Young; tight end Braden Jones; linebackers J Leman and Rufus Alexander; defensive ends Martail Burnett and Chris Norwell; centers Dan Mozes and Tim Mattran; tackle Chase Johnson and defensive tackle Leger Douzable.
Safety Michael Boulware was placed on the injured-reserve list.
